Consulting

Remodeling is not an easy task. Once you do get beyond the family meetings, choosing colors, and setting up the budget, you then have to hire a contractor. One piece of advice - call your contractor early on during planning. Michael Murray Construction is happy to review your project while it's still in the idea stage. We can alert you to any potential pitfalls, requirements, or recommend changes to improve the project and help avoid unnecessary expenditures - well before any work is started.

Taking over botched projects mid-stream

Our growing reputation is bringing us other types of projects, namely picking up the pieces and completing a job gone south. Sometimes it's better to take a step back and regroup. MMC will come in and assess the status, then advise you how to recover from a misguided job. We can help.

What to look for in a contractor

The California State Contractor Licensing Board (http://www.cslb.ca.gov/) was created to protect consumers, not contractors. We recommend you visit the site and read "Selecting a Licensed Contractor" Let us know if you have any questions.
